Kids DO say the Darndest Things!!

And our kid: no exception. Since turning three, Sugar has had a lot of entertaining things to say and so I have been writing them down so I can remind her someday of just how entertaining and clever she was at three... and still is. Now I've got a good enough little collection and will have to update it as we are blessed with more little insights.

- Mom, I don't like ants. I wish all ants could be kitties.

-I can hear Mom's heartbeat; I can hear Dad's heartbeat; I can hear Gramma's heartbeat, but not Grampa's... maybe he doesn't have one.

-I don't sink so, how about you can do it! Yeah that's a great idea.

-A wedding is lots of pretty flowers and you get to be a Princess all day, yup that's right!

-Let's pray for the animals at the Zoo cause it's cold tonight.

-Can you rub my back right there where my bra sits? That would make me feel better.

-Look Mom! All my animals are circled round havin' Leif Society.

-(When told Santa was coming to our house to bring presents) Can't he just leave them on the porch, let's not let him in.

-Mom, Mom come see! Prezdint Mawson, Earring and Orkdork on TV!!

-I'm being funny... hurry get the camera n take a picture a me.

-Grandma has a birthday and she's growin' up too big. I think she's 20 (She was 90... I was 25)

-I love you TOO much! (instead of "so much")

-Sugar have baby-boobies, they are private. And Auntie-T have baby-boobies too cause her not a mom yet.

-There's nothing to do... How' bout we make some cookies like Gramma does when she's got nothin to do, too!

-Where's my lovely Dad?

-This dress makes me look dumb not pretty. I'd rather be pretty.

-(in the car) Mom, you can't spank my hind-end right now cause I'm sittin' on it.

....and finally:

-(She told Gramma) I'm not suppose to say Damnit, cause Damnit is a bad word and I'm not ever suppose to say Damnit unless I want my mouth washed with soap. So I don't say Damnit anymore!!
