Sugar really wanted to be an alligator for Halloween, but after searching in three different fabric stores and finding nothing that looked even remotely alligator colored or textured or green sequenced I was a little disappointed. But every store we visited had ample zebra, leopard, and giraffe prints SO... I was able to convince her that being a zebra wasn't going to be too bad after all. (Besides that I had no idea how I would ever figure out an alligator hood.)
It also helped convince her when we went to visit a neighbor who has been on several safari's and has a zebra head-mount and zebra rug (aka newly named the "Zebra House"). And I was pretty amazed with myself after making that little mane stand up so straight!!! WOW!!
Have you ever seen a cuter zebra in your life? Yeah... Me neither!!
